Now Hiring is a top-down text-based adventure game centered on the dark world of scam syndicates. You play as a desperate job seeker who unwittingly falls into their trap, forced to survive and make life-defining choices over the course of 21 days. Under constant surveillance from your trainer, you must master the art of deception, complete dangerous assignments, and navigate daily conversations that shape your fate. Every word you say, every decision you make, alters how others perceive you—and builds your Personality Cards, tools that will aid you in tense dialogue battles. Each confrontation leads to branching outcomes, pushing the story toward different paths. Will you become a loyal enforcer of the syndicate, secretly fight for justice, or stand by in silence? Every route unlocks a unique storyline, ensuring that no two journeys are ever the same.

At the beginning of 2025, “Happy MoonMoon” founded this little team out of a dream of striking it rich, gathering together a cheerful angel to help write the game’s story, and a downhearted guitarist, Ah Wei, to compose the music. All of us are just ordinary office workers who have never released a complete game before. But even so, we hope to create fun games despite having limited resources, an even tighter budget, and barely any sleep. Of course, if anyone happens to introduce us to a chance to get rich, we’d be more than happy to give it our all!
